Support for a Busy Mind That Struggles to Slow Down

If staying focused feels like a daily battle or if restlessness and impulsive actions are affecting your relationships, work, or self-confidence you may be dealing with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Whether you’re an adult or caring for a child with ADHD, I want you to know you’re not alone. At Mindset Psychiatry and Wellness, I offer compassionate, personalized support to help you or your child feel more in control, confident, and understood.

What Is ADHD?

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect both children and adults. It often shows up as difficulty focusing, managing impulses, or sitting still. These challenges aren’t about laziness or a lack of willpower they’re rooted in how the brain processes and responds to information.

While ADHD can be frustrating or overwhelming, it’s also manageable. With the right care, you can learn tools and strategies to function more smoothly in daily life and thrive in ways that feel true to who you are.

Common Signs of ADHD
  • Inattention: Losing focus, making small mistakes, struggling to complete tasks, or frequently misplacing things.
  • Hyperactivity: Feeling restless, always needing to move, talk, or fidget especially in settings that expect stillness.
  • Impulsivity: Interrupting others, difficulty waiting your turn, or making snap decisions you later regret.

How I Can Help

Everyone’s experience with ADHD is different. That’s why I offer a thoughtful, individualized approach designed to support your specific strengths, challenges, and goals.

When appropriate, I may recommend medication to help improve focus, reduce impulsivity, and calm mental restlessness. I work closely with you (or your child) to find the right fit and make sure it’s helping not adding stress.

Behavioral Therapy & Skill Building
We’ll work together to develop tools for organizing your thoughts, managing time, and navigating emotional ups and downs. These practical skills can lead to real improvements at home, work, or school.

Emotional Support & Counseling
Living with ADHD can impact self-esteem, relationships, and stress levels. I offer a safe, judgment-free space to explore those emotions and build confidence and resilience.

Parent Guidance (for Children with ADHD)
If your child has ADHD, I also offer coaching and support for you as a parent so you feel equipped to understand their needs and support their growth at home and in school.

A Whole-Person Approach to ADHD Care
